Hey, I'm Rafael Jiménez, a Computer Information Systems student with hands-on experience in full-stack web development and software engineering. Currently pursuing my Bachelor's degree at Mount Royal University with an expected graduation in April 2027, I specialize in designing and developing responsive, database-driven applications using Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, SQL, HTML, and CSS.
I have professional experience as a Freelance Web Developer and Designer for Kind Care and Hivefficient, where I have designed responsive websites, managed code through GitHub, and conducted performance tests to improve speed and accessibility. In addition to my development work, my role at Staples has equipped me with strong skills in technical troubleshooting, product setup, and delivering clear technical solutions to customers.
I am a bilingual professional, fluent in English and Spanish, with a strong foundation in object-oriented programming and collaborative development. My project work includes building a dynamic Stock Portfolio & Historical Data Browser using PHP and SQLite, an Immigration Eligibility Evaluator using Java and Python, and Inventory Management Systems.
