Project Overview
KindCare is a Canadian support service website I designed and developed to be fully responsive and accessible. The goal was to create a modern, clean layout that appealed to families and community members looking for care services.
My Process
I focused heavily on mobile-first design, as most visitors access the site from phones. I improved spacing, readability, and navigation clarity while ensuring the entire layout remained simple and friendly.
Challenges
The biggest challenge was balancing visual appeal with accessibility requirements. I made sure color contrast, text size, and structure were screen-reader friendly.
Reflection & Learning
This project helped me grow as a front-end developer by teaching me how to iterate based on client feedback, optimize layouts, and prioritize real user experience. It strengthened my UI/UX skills and helped me understand the importance of clarity in design.
